Why buy direct

Lower price, same API

No marketplace commission means the direct plans cost less than the identical tiers on RapidAPI.

Honest limits

Hard caps with standard RateLimit-* headers and a /v1/usage endpoint. When you run out you get a clear 429 — never a surprise bill.

Built for caching

Every successful response ships ETag and Cache-Control. Conditional requests return 304 and save you time and quota.

Talk to the builders

Two developers run this platform end to end. Questions and bug reports land in the inbox of the people who wrote the code.

FAQ

Data & usage

Where does the data come from?

Straight from the official sources: the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (CPI and average prices) and U.S. Treasury Fiscal Data (debt and interest rates). Both are public-domain US government datasets. We ingest each official release automatically, verify it, and serve it as stable JSON — each API page lists the exact series and dataset IDs. This product is not endorsed by or affiliated with the BLS or the Treasury.

How fresh is the data?

Inflation refreshes on each monthly CPI release (8:30 AM ET, days 10–18 of the following month). Debt refreshes every business day after the Treasury publishes (around 3:00 PM ET, T+1). Missing months in the official record (e.g. October 2025, never published due to the federal shutdown) are served as null — never invented.

Can I use the data commercially?

Yes — on every plan, including Free. The underlying government data is public domain; your subscription covers the API service — cleaning, computation, uptime and history. Attribution to the original source (BLS / U.S. Treasury) is appreciated and is included in every response's meta.

Can you add a series or an endpoint I need?

Very often, yes. The BLS and the Treasury publish far more series than we currently expose, and two developers run this platform end to end — so requests reach the people who ship. Email support@synergicapis.com with the series you need and how you'd use it.

What is the SLA?

Best-effort. The platform runs on serverless infrastructure with health checks and freshness monitoring, but we do not currently offer a contractual SLA. If you need one, contact us about the Business plan.

Account & billing

Do I need a credit card for the free tier?

No. The free key is issued instantly with just an email: 500 requests per month, 10 per minute, every endpoint of both APIs with the full history, commercial use included.

What happens when I hit my quota?

Requests over the monthly cap return HTTP 429 with a clear error body and reset timing in the headers. Nothing is billed on top — there is no overage, ever. Upgrade or wait for the 1st of the month (UTC).

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions are managed by Stripe and can be cancelled at any moment; your key keeps working until the end of the paid period. The free tier needs no card at all.
